Born and raised in Ottawa, Lianne has been a member of the team since 1998 covering the sports beat from amateur athletes to the Ottawa Senators.  

Lianne knows a few things about fitness as a former Canadian elite gymnast. She was a provincial champion by age nine, and left the nation's capital in the early 1990s to attend the University of Massachusetts on a full NCAA gymnastics scholarship.

Extracurricular:
Lianne is the proud mother of two daughters and is involved with a variety of local charities. She sits on the board of the Snow Suit Fund of Ottawa, gives motivational speeches at high schools and sports forums, as well as emcees and participates in fundraising and community events.

Lianne maintains a daily active lifestyle whether it's running, weight training, pilates, golf, tennis or skiing. It’s always great when the weather co-operates!
