Celebrity Trainer

Celebrity trainer and author of No Gym Required Jennifer Cohen was on our set for the Saturday morning show last week. She was a blast to hang out with and actually ended up back at my house for a few hours prior to heading off to Chapters for a book signing. I picked her brain as much as I could about the fitness industry in LA as well as the celebrity gossip she was willing to share!!! We even hit the gym for a workout.

She really loved the concept of "Today's The Day", so she was more than willing to stick around to shoot a few segments. She gave us some ideas for snacks as well as exercises anyone can do without the use of a gym or equipment. Today she had us doing what she calls the Cardio Boost Kick. Essentially it is an exercise to increase the heart rate while at the same time focusing on the problem areas around the hips and outer leg. Jennifer had us standing with our feet hip width apart. Raising the right arm to run parallel with the floor she had us kick the right leg up and around to touch the arm. She had us repeat the exercise about ten times on each side.
