Grilled Ham Steak Pizza

2 Slices SchneidersÂ® Bacon
3 Ounces (85 g)
1 SchneidersÂ® Olde FashionedÂ® Smoked Ham Steak
2 tsp (10 mL) Tedâ€™s World Famous BBQ Crazy Canuck Chicken & Rib BBQ Sauce or your favourite gourmet style barbecue sauceÂĽ cup (50 mL) Your favourite pizza toppings (mushrooms, green peppers, roasted red peppers, onion, sliced olives, tomatoes, pineapple, etc.)
PANFRY bacon over medium low heat for 2-3 minutes per side or until the bacon is partially cooked. Remove from pan and pat dry with paper towel. Allow to fully cool then cut each slice of bacon in half. Set aside.
CUT cheese into four Â˝ inch (1 cm) cubes, grate remaining cheese. Wrap each cube of cheese with half a slice of bacon. Set aside.
PREHEAT BBQ/grill to medium high 350Â°-400Â°F (180Â°-200Â°C).
Grill ham steak for 2-3 minutes on one side, turn over and brush cooked side with barbecue sauce. Top with grated cheese, sprinkle with your favourite pizza toppings and top with
TURN heat to low or off directly under the ham steak pizza. Close lid and grill indirectly* for 8-10 minutes or until the bacon/gouda rollups are crispy and oozing cheesy goodness.
REMOVE ham steak pizza from grill using a large bladed spatula. Allow to rest for 2-3 minutes and serve immediately
